Yang Zhiguang is Han Nationality. Mr Yang was born in Jiexi, Guangdong province 1930. He graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is holding several posts at the same time,such as a professor of Guangzhou Fine Art Academy, the dean of Lingnan College of Fine Arts specializing, the honorary adviser for Guangdong international cultural exchange center, and so on. He is excelling at Traditional Chinese painting, specializing in figure painting, portrait, flower-bird painting, calligraphy, seal cutting. From 1990 to 2000, he held his personal exhibition and lecture in USA. And he brought in some Chinese culture, for example, Chinese artist dictionary, Chinese contemporary celebrity collection and other books. His art works are ruther good , many of them were different awards at home and abroad. His representative works are: Mine Recruits, Son, Sunbath Painting. He also created some picture albums and artistic books. From 1997 to 1998, he donated his 1,200 art works to Beijing Museum of Fine Art, Guangzhou Museum of Fine Art, Guangzhou Museum of Fine Art and Guangzhou College of Fine Art. Now “Yang Zhiguang Art Museum” has been built by Guangzhou municipal government in Guangzhou Art Museum
